Uncharted Waters Online

Expanding from the classic Koei RPG series known as Uncharted Waters in the US, this MMORPG features trade and warfare on the high seas in the great age of sailing and exploring. Players can combine their forces with other online players for up to five ships in a party, and explore capitol cities and ports all across the globe (including London, Marseilles and Lisbon).

The PC version's release is Winter 2004; Koei considered a PlayStation 2 version of the title based on the success -- and yet massive costs -- of Nobunaga's Ambition Online, but none was ever announced.
