Evil Mode

Evil Mode allows you to return to regions you have cleared and fight the good guys. If you win a series of battles, you'll be given a set of treasures that your party can use in the main quest. We suggest going back and completing the Evil Mode stage as soon as you complete a level during the main quest. It will make the game much easier.

Eregion
The battles in this region are simple. Simply pound away on the inexperienced team of good guys and this round will go smoothly.

Treasure
Cracked Elfstone of Action Enhancement
Cracked Elfstone of Armor Enhancement
Cracked Elfstone of Health Enhancement

Western Moria
During all of the ranged battles, attack Elegost first so that your archers in the back can't be hurt. Like the first stage, these are easy fights.

Treasure
3rd Age Mordor Orc Battle Shield
Cracked Elfstone of Shadow Protection

Eastern Moria
Most of the battles here are simple. When you are the Balrog, focus your attacks on Gandalf because he is the only one who can really damage you.

Treasure
3rd Age Foul Blade of Morgul
Cracked Elfstone of Spirit Enhancement

East Emnet Gullies
Battles begin to get difficult here. In the first battle, focus your attacks on Aranel. Try to prevent him from calling an Arrow Volley and the rest of the battle is much easier. In the second battle, use the Skill Grave Wounds to drain the melee fighters HP quickly. It may take several battles to defeat the party as the Warg. We suggest attacking Hadhod first. Sometimes he will keep you from attacking until you die. The fighters may become immune to the Stunning Bite, but it will still do decent damage. The rewards are worth the effort!

Treasure
Polished Elfstone of Blunt Defense
Polished Elfstone of Slashing Defense
Polished Elfstone of Piercing Defense

Rohan
In the first battle, put Hadhod to sleep with the Orc Chieftain and the rest of the battle will progress fairly smoothly. In the second battle, attack Elegost first so that your ranged fighters can't be hurt. Grima can steal all of the heroes AP, so do that to ensure victory in this battle. The final battle pits you as Sharku against the team. If Sharku loses all of his HP, the battle will end, so watch out. Attack Eaomer first or else he will drain all of your health away.

Treasure
3rd Age Easterling Steel Scimitar
3rd Age Iron Goblin Spear of Moria
Polished Elfstone of Action Enhancement

Helm's Deep
Throughout this round, keep using Stagger Foe to prevent the heroes from attacking as much. Also, use the Poison Skills to make their HP drain faster. There are only two battles, though it may seem longer as you'll continuously get your party refilled as they take you down.

Treasure
2nd Age Long Sword of the Accursed
Polished Elfstone of Armor Enhancement
Numenorian Dark Battle Plate Vambraces

Osgiliath
You'll get to fight as Gothmog first. Use his Barad Dur Curse to weaken the entire good party quickly and the battle will be a breeze. The second battle has you as two Trolls. Use the Drummer to keep your party healed while the Veteran deals the damage. Finally, you'll be the Witch King of Angmar. His strongest attack is Morgul Wind - use it to strike down Berethor and Idrial.

Treasure
Sword of Isuldor, High King of Gondor
3rd Age Iron Mordor Battle Axe
3rd Age Orc Crescent Spear of Mordor
Polished Elfstone of Shadow Protection
Gondorian Steel Warrior Fauld

Minas Tirith
The first battle will give you three Trolls to fight with. Keep using Stunning blades to keep from being attacked. The second battle will have two Trolls and should be fought in the same way.

The third battle puts you in the Great Hall as a troupe of Easterling Warriors. Sometimes, this battle will be literally impossible to win. The good team may get several attacks before you are allowed to fight. Keep trying until you are given a chance to fight faster. Then, use Disturbed Sleep to prevent the good guys from attacking you in a long series. If you then skip everyone's turn until it is the Veteran's turn to fight again, you use War Call to take the opponents out one at a time.

The final battle lets you fight as the Witch-king of Angmar. Strike Fear into Gandalf to make sure he doesn't use his powerful attacks. After that, you can just keep using Consume Life until the foes drop.

Treasure
2nd Age Mithril Dwarven War Hammer
2nd Age Golden Glaive of Eregion
2nd Age Steel Glaive of the High King
Numenorian Dark Battle Plate Fauld
2nd Age Easterling Steel Piercing Axe
Numenorian Wool Shadow Cloak
