PS2 Reviews | Nov 2, 2004

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando was hardly a failure. In fact, it was a smash hit. It garnered widespread critical praise and no less than seven "game of the year" awards. But Insomniac isn't satisfied with that. It has a lot of ideas that didn't, and couldn't, get aired in Going Commando, from online play to unique new bonus stages. And so we can see the need for a third game, capping off a trilogy and perhaps finally satisfying the self-critical bastards at Insomniac. They might well be succeeding, at least according to developer Brian Hastings. Up Your Arsenal, he says, is "absolutely the best game Insomniac has ever made." Read More »
