GameSpy: What are the benefits for the players of the NRM campaign? Has the development team seen evidence of these benefits since beginning the campaign?
FFXI Team: I believe that it is very important to think of the benefits for the community before thinking of the benefits for the development team. Of course an increase in workload cannot be said as a benefit to anyone, but shouldn't one of the development team's goals be to offer a safe and enjoyable environment for users who want to enjoy the game? As a number value, we have discovered that results have been coming from things such as in-game prices and Gil balance as a whole.
GameSpy: What is the appeal process if someone is banned?
FFXI Team: If that has happened, we would like to ask for them to please contact the Info Center directly. An investigation will be done immediately. It is included as a case where their account has been hacked and banned because someone else has controlled their character to perform illegal activities.

GameSpy: Is there any possibility of making RMTs part of the official game?
FFXI Team: Although this would be a problem to be exterminated for a game such as FFXI that does not allow RMT, if the game design was to allow it, then we would not be disputing it. However, for an MMO whose core activity concentrates on guilds and small unit groups, aside from conquests that come from the joint efforts of these users, I believe that having other users who pay money to achieve the same result residing in the same place is an unthinkable design.
